LCD gives along with the recording video a lot of red and blue

My sony handycam DCR-HC32E gives on the LCD screen a lot of red to gether with the presented pictures and also record the video as it is on screen. I tryde focus, nigth shot and so on from automatic to manual and reverse.

If your not afraid to work on. first open cam take battery off once the tape loader is open. reseat all the ribbon cables gonig to the lcd.

Dcr-hc32e no picture on side screen, any solutions ?
There is flexible ribbon wired between lcd board and camcorder board, it seems broken so no image on side lcd screen.
Replace flexible ribbon wire by local camera repair shop because camcorder will take apart for that.

My Handycam shows a bluish screen(DCR-HC32E)
did you happen to drop the cam? there could be a technical error with the LCD screen. take it to the nearest Sony service center and have them take a look at it. you can try resetting the cam and see if it changes anything.

I have a sony DCR-HC20 Handycam, the screen
Hello Gary, sadly lots get the LCD screen go wobbly on the camera types you have, Sony did do a recall on the problem, did you register yours? if so you could have mislaid it.
I had to send my Sony for repair as it went same as you camera has.

The touch screen is not working. After resetting
If the buttons on the touch-panel LCD screen do not respond correctly or do not work at all, adjust the LCD screen calibration. Consult the instruction manual if specific information is required to perform this procedure.
NOTE: The touch-panel LCD screen cannot be calibrated if it is rotated.

Sony digital video camera mode no. DCR-HC14E not showing pictures/recording
If your Sony DCR-HC14E shows fine picture in playback of old tapes and does not give live view in camera mode to record then its CDD Imager problem that Sony will repair free of cost.

Sony handycam dcr hc 42 red lcd screen
Just call 1-800-222-7669 Sony Support. They will send you pre-UPS label and you mail your camcorder to Sony support. They will replace the LCD View finder for free. I did it about a year ago.
