Question about Televison & Video
Tried to 'reset' region codes to play a UK dvd, here in US. Succeeded in getting to secret menu, but as well as setting region code to 0, als inadvertantly changed from NTSC to PAL. Now I can't read menu on TV screen as output from DVD in in PAL. Need to find how to do a quick reset?
SOURCE: Playing PAL system dvds
Turn unit power on
with dvd draw closed and with no disc
hidden menu appears
select REGION 0
for multi zone compatibility and enjoy...

This may be of no help to anyone but I have the same problem and I have spoken to Curtis Support today, they say there is no fix, its a fault in the machine and must be returned to the vendor as they have no service network in the UK. I bought mine with a 90 day guarantee off Ebay and it went faulty after 100 days but probably only used for 3 days so I'm stuffed!!!

I would make sure to add step 2.1 which is to select the menu button. I tried these steps but without selecting the menu button first, I could not reset. Good luck
