Compaq Presario 2100, remove keyboard

How do I get the keyboard off a Compaq Presario 2100 so I can repair the AC connector.  I need to do a little solder job on the AC adapter connector but I can't get the laptop completely apart.  Can you help?

Compaq presario 2500 laptop keeps shutting off, whether plugged in or not.

Overheating, and automatically shutting off?

Turn it off.
Disconnect the AC adapter.
Remove the battery.
Purchase a can of compressed-air, and give your computer a "blow-job" -- blowing air into everywhere inside your computer. You could be surprised how much dust is ejected. Dust is an excellent insulator, and will make your computer run much hotter.
