Insert your USB receiver into a USB port on your computer. If you are using a laptop, you'll usually find a USB port on the side. If you are using a desktop computer, it's likely located on the front or rear of the tower.
Wait for your computer to install the drivers. You'll see a progress balloon in the bottom-right corner of your desktop screen. After a minute or so, it should show "Success." If it does not, or if there is an error, visit the Belkin resource to download the drivers.
Turn the mouse over and push the switch to "On." The mouse should automatically communicate with the USB receiver. Test the mouse to determine if it has. If the mouse does not work, press the "Connect" button on the receiver and then press the "Connect" button on your mouse. The mouse should be functional.
do you have a belkin cd at all?
From Belkin support site It says it is a mouse driver but since there the comination KB and Mouse is a set. There may be an obtion with in the download that supports both
You would have to go to Belkin and ask them for a driver. Likely you might find they dont care to make one if the mouse is older. Then if you are like me you never buy a belkin mouse again.
But seriously, check with them and see if they have new drivers available for download.
Today I tried pressing the reset button on the bottom of the mouse, and at the same time pressed the button on the top of the remote reciever. I'd pressed both in the past, but never at the same time. This seems to have fixed this problem. I hope it's a solution for others also.
