User Manual for Faema D92/A, doesn't dispense coffee, only water

I'd be so grateful if anyone could please provide me with some information about how to find an instructions and specifications manual for this machine, to try my hand at troubleshooting it. All I can read on the machine is this: Model Faema d92/a fabrication 082014 01310831520 date of manufacture 05-2000 As I bought it second hand and it had been on storage for quite a while, I can't make it to dispense coffee. Thank you very much for your help.

This will take some time so bear with me.
The problem with the machine is most likely the solenoid valve(black or blue electrical box connected on the side of the group), for easier access remove the front panel there are about 5 screws holding it in place, 2 on the bottom and 3 on the top under-side. Disconnect or turn off the water supply. Then using a 14mm open end wrench remove the nut and the discharge pipe. Do Not remove the 4 small allen wrench screws on the brass piece connected to the machine. Now remove the electrical box over the silver pipe, and using a cressent remove the silver pipe from the brass rectangle square. Slowly open the water supply, if water shoots out then the head is clear, we will move on if not, use a pin and clean the middle hole. Check the silver pipe also there is a small plunger in there press it in if it moves freely then we are good, if not you can try soaking it in puro caff until it clears or just get a new solenoid coil. Remove the shower screen and screw in the group head, you can soak those also.
If you still cannot get water, then we will have to go deeper into the machine.

I have a 2009 Faema Smart S-2, 2 group semi automatic coffee machine. Is it possible to convert it to an automatic coffee machine?

First, I am NOT a Faema repairman, Though I've worked on some Faemas, and similar espresso machines.
** Your question is a bit vague so I will try to provide info.
The 'semi-automatic' means you don't have to watch the brewing of the coffee. The machine will 'Dose' out a per-determined amount of water through the portafilter. Manual machines require to operator to turn water on and off to dose. Full automatic will grind the beans, measure and pack the coffee, then brew the coffee with water. Some have the option to froth and dispense milk directly into the cup. The industry usually refers these machines as 'Super-Automatics' They are very expensive and are designed for untrained personnel (not a Barista) to make coffee. There are a number of Home use machines now that provide a similar function but can only produce a cup for personal use and not multiple cups.
** I have come across automatic milk steamer and frother. This can be a simple cappuccino attachment to your steam tip. More updated version have an auto-frother that replaces the steam wand and will do a fair job (IF THEY ARE KEPT CLEAN!). Some machines have modified steam wands with sensor probe that will measure the milk temperature and shut off the steam when heated to set point. You will find all these features handy at first as it gets a novice worker quickly up to speed to produce product. But once they get the proper Barista training, most will not use these features as it's generally faster to produce orders the standard way. (also a good Barista will always present a professional looking cup!)
** I've noted that repeat customers appreciate the effort that goes into a properly brewed cup of coffee. Otherwise we would all go to a coffee vending machine (with instant coffee, Yuk!)

Waterpump makes a lot of noise

It is possible that the water coming into the pump from the mains is obstructed. If you have a water filter, that might need to be replaced. Some of the pumps have a stone filter on them, you will see a huge nut on the inlet side of the pump, that might need to be cleaned. Also check all water lines make sure you have no kinks. Pay attention to the gauge on the machine when the noise is happening if the water dispensing pressure lever should be at about between 3-6 bar when not being used and about 9 when brewing espresso.

Faema e92

There is an economizer valve on the machine that needs to be adjusted. I will assume it was pumping hot water, this is not a new installed machine, then the machine has scale buildup that is preventing the hot water from leaving the boiler through the tubes to the solenoid, only the mixed cold water is being dispensed. If this is a new installed machine, adjust the economizer on the boiler, remove the left panel for access. Big nut on the boiler you will see where it connects to the solenoid.

Bought a used Faema Eurostar Combi. Don't have a

If it's the same as the used one I just picked up, there is a dial position for coffee, with a little cup on it. The dial position for steam is the one that cares about the positoin of the steam/hot water button.
The coffee position will never use steam and you don't need worry about the position of the steam button if you're not frothing milk.
