you don't need drivers...just a dvi cable...then push the function(fn)key and the monitor key..the key that has the screen icon(f4 on my compaq) to switch the signal...bingo

My t,v. jusrt goes to 6 stations and i have cable. instead of it being on cable as usual it says air where it usually says cable. It is a apex t.v. and apex control, thank you joyce.

Which model of APEX TV do you have?

In general, if the TV has had the source changed, you will need to switch it back from Air (OTA) to CATV (cable). Newer TVs may have the choices of Air and Cable for the TV source.

To change the setting, press Menu (on the TV (if present), on the original remote (in TV mode) or on a substitute remote with the Menu function). Use the up/down arrows to select the TV submenu. Select this menu with the right arrow. Then go down through the submenu to the Source line. (It may read CA-TV/Air on an older TV.) Use the left/right arrows to toggle the setting. Then press Menu to save the setting and return to the previous menu. Then go to the CH Scan option in this menu to rescan the available channels.

Note: I've gone through the directions for an older Apex TV (AVL-2076) with an analog (NTSC) tuner. The directions will probably be similar for other TVs but the menus (and sub-menus) may have different names or be in a different order.

Can i use the apex avl2076 for a computer monitor? if so,how?

Yes, you can but you need a VGA cable to go from your laptop/PC. If your Laptop/PC has a DVI video connector, then you also need to get a DVI to VGA adaptor. The manual below will explain how to connect your TV to a PC.
