Does your mobo have an expansion slot for your a agp/pci-e vga card? or does it have an onboard video adapter? you can watch movies from an onboard vga card.. or if you want, you can buy an add-on vga card..

What graphics cards can my AcerPower S285 support?

I am not familiar with that model of motherboard, but I will tell you this:

Find out what video bus is onboard (agp, PCI, etc). This will be in your manual that came with it.

If you can find out this information for me, I can assist you further.

No sound--problem Multimedia Audio Controller

Your machine should use the AC97 codecs from Realtek. Should the standard AC97 codecs not work try the HD codecs which are linked from the same page. Windows update can sometimes create the problem you're experiencing - a reinstall should do the trick.
