My tv screen has a black spot

HI,
Are you sure that there is balck dot on the sreen. Check one more time is it any dust on the screen.
Black spot Means pixel of the Lcd sreen is fault. There are thousands of pixels in an lcd screen. when any of the pixel or a group of pixels become faulty the black spot will appear. Its not possile to rectify the problem other than replacing the LCD panle if its avilable. The avilability of lcd screen is very rare.

Sometimes tv sreen comes on then goes black, in the right lighting you can see the barely see the picture, other times the screen wont come on. either cse the sound works fine

Sounds like the backlight or backlight inverter is out on your TV.
You will likely want a seasoned professional to repair this for you assuming the TV is out of warranty.

How do i get my nintendo nes to work through a bush freeview lcd flat sreen tv i have connected it up correctly

Use the RCA AVI outlets on the side of the NES and not the RFI (cable) outlet on the rear of the unit. Tune your TV to the appropriate Video Input channel.

If still no signal, try another set of AVI cables.

Try the console on another television.

If no output from the NES, then it will require refurbishment. Click here for more information.

Please let me know how I may assist further.

Please describe your screen black only logo comes on i pulled plug to remove logo cannot use power switch to remove logo problem:

Hi.

All you can do is leaving the TV unplugged for fifteen or twenty minutes, in the attempt to drain power completely and reset it.

Also disconnect all video cables when you restart TV. If TV is still frozen and does not pass POST screen, then the TV eprom must be reflashed, or the mainboard replaced. This must be done by a technician.

Here all parts for your TV:Vizio TV Parts | ShopJimmy.

Try unplugging power and check video connections first.

Regards.

Windows logo comes on and then followed by a black screen and tried safe mode/VGA and still the same and the cursor is moving about the black sreen and nothing else-- could you help it's windows...

Try pressing the F8 key at the startup (after power-on and before the logo comes up).
Choose "Fail-safe" mode using the arrow keys on your keyboard and press enter twice.

When windows is in failsafe mode there is a number of ways you can fix the problem.

Try this:
Open "My computer", right-click on your harddrive and choose "properties"
From there scan the drive for errors (mark the 2repair automatically") and fix them.
Reboot the pc...

Good luck
