Maybe you have the cold tap hose connected to the hot inlet valve. Check the hoses. Need more info on the beeping. Is it a steady beep or more of a musical rippling sound? Also, what lights are on especially along top row when it beeps but also describe any other lights that are blinking? The top row lights won't be blinking, so just count and tell what number lights are on and which are off ( count from left to right)

SOURCE: Will not advance from fill cycle

Check your drain hose to make sure you have not sealed the top of the standpipe (drain line), or shoved your drain hose too far down in the pipe. If you do not allow for an air gap, your washer will fill and begin to siphon through the drain line. It is common for folks to seal the standpipe or shove the drain hose down in the line too far in the belief that it will prevent overflows, or get rid of that nasty drain smell. This can be bad because it does not allow for the proper air gap to keep the water from being siphoned right out of the machine. You may have a tight fitting that doesn't siphon every time which may explain why the problem doesn't occur all the time. Double check to make sure. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: my smart drive is not reaching full spin speed on spin cycle

You are right with your last comment. Laying the machine on its back is a no no. It allows the residue water in the bowl to possibly travel up the small plastic tube and enter into the water level sensor on the main (computer) control unit. It only takes a very small amount of water and it upsets the sensor so that the machine may not go through its cycle correctly. The water (depending on model) is extremely difficult or impossible to get out.
This may cause the machine to think that the bowl is not completely drained and so it will not go into full speed spin. Other problems may occur as well.
Bear in mind also that that a number of machine models do not go to full speed spin on a water temperature setting of warm or higher. When checking for high speed spin put your water temperature control down to cold / warm or cold.
Check also that your machine is sitting level ( the bowl is sitting centre in relation to the top shroud. If the bowl is leaning toward the rear of the machine when you look down into it, the ability to spin may be affected. There is a lever behind the bowl which activates a switch if the bowl comes in contact with it (when the wash load is out of balance) to stop the spin. The switch can also be activated when the machine is not level.
If your problem persists you may have to get a replacement main contol unit. If you are a little savey at technical things you may be able to get a discarded control unit from your local tip or recycler and recover the water level sensor for a change over. This may involve soldering though as well as precautions concerning stored electricity in the control unit capacitors and precautions about static electricity from your body or solder iron destroying other electronic components on the main control unit.
Hope this helps.

Need to know the error code to help you. When it beeps, take note of the top row of lights & count from right to left. Tell me exactly which lights are on & which are off. Also, tell me if any other lights are blinking. The only thing the tiler would of disconnected are the inlet water hoses. Check that the hose from the cold tap is on the cold inlet & hot tap is on the hot inlet. Marked C & H on back of panel.

Starts and stops

A failed inlet valve is not uncommon in F&P machines. The hot valve is different to the cold one, so don't exchange them. Not a big job for a tech to do in-laundry. Good luck....Nomess

Intermittent water flow interupted by solenoids pulsing

I've got the same problem. If I pause the cycle, wait about 10 seconds, and then resume, the water starts normally. I suspect the Cold Water Inlet Solenoid is sticking, probably due to water sediment in the solenoid causing it to stick. I'll try cleaning it and then replace if that doesn't help and let you know what happens.

Water filling issue

It sounds like you have a faulty Out of Balance Micro switch(the machine now thinks it's always out of balance) you'll find this under the motor controller module (main computer module) in the top of the machine on the righthand side. Anymore questions feel free to ask. cheers

When filling my F&Paykel washer the water is not a constant flow, it is filling in 'spurts', ie stop/start/stop/start etc...... I have tried cold, hot & warm water, all combinations of temp are...

You most likely have a smart water temp sensor on your machine. It makes sure you have the proper water temp to dissolve your detergent. Even when set to cold, it will add some hot water. It sounds like your machine is working properly. If you feel you are haveing a problem check the water temperatures in your owners manual and then check them with a thermomater in the washer. If they are not correct you may have a bad temperature sensor. Good Luck and I hope this helped. [email protected]
