SOURCE: Unit leaks out of the bottom
Mine just developed the same problem. Me being an engineer, I decided to take it apart and found the problem. There is an aluminum tube shaped like a "C" with a heating element inside of it. Water flows through this metal tube, is heated, and then pushed via steam pressure. There is a metal brace that holds this "C" piece securely to the bottom of the machine. This brace is sharp and overtightened, which caused a small hole to form in the metal, causing the leak (in my machine of course). I am currently researching how to patch aluminum so I can hopefully fix it.

the most likely reason for poor flow through the brewhead is a blockage in the outlet valve.the outlet valve is behind the shower disc holding plate and can be removed with 13mm socket. a straightened paper clip needs to be insrted in the outlet to clear any internal blockage, then pump water through. if the outlet valve splits in two ensure the rubber bung is inserted upwards.once refitted all should be fine

There are 3 seals in your unit that could cause your problem. there is a silicon seal right under the pour-in tray, and two on the top of the tank. one of those is for the thermostat, the other is for the sprayhead tube. any of these could leak, causing water to come out the bottom of the brewer. One other thing that can cause this is a scale buildup between the pour-in tray and the tank.

The brewer should be de-scaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. De-scaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend de-scaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The de-scaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar.
Take 48 oz of white vinegar. place in tank. pretend you are making coffee (Do No Use K Cup). let the water fill you mug. then empty that mug. Do it again until tank is empty. then let sit for 4 hours.
Then fill with fresh water to the top. let that tank of water run thru. towards the end taste the water.
If you taste vinegar..use more clean water, until the taste is ok.
I tried to help you. Please help me and Vote/Rate this response. Thanks and good luck
SOURCE: Hi, Our Delonghi Magnifica coffee maker seems to
You need to contact Delonghi and order a part. This is the steam/water outlet assembly. This part includes an electronic solenoid which controls the water and steam output. I have had this problem 3 times. You may find the steam/ water is very loose when you try to wobble it sideways. This is the indication as to what is the problem, (as mentioned above).
