I'm looking for the head tension for a Kohler 14hp engine. I think it's a cv14

14HP Kohler engine in JD314 garden tractor has no spark - new coil, condenser and battery - cranks over strong but will not spark

Your problem is electrical. .. there's gotta be a short ... check if there is an emergency shut off switch, under the seat, disconnect that.. the unit is sending a signal to stop the coil from sparking, I'm certain that's your problem!

Show me a wiring diagram for a 13ac762f755,i put a 14hp command,kolher on it tring to wire it up.

Mower side connections At engine connector.

Yellow = Magneto
Red = Alternator DC
Blue = Alternator AC = Lights
Red/Black = Afterfire Solenoid

If the Kohler only has DC output jumper Red and Blue for lighting.

Without the numbers from the engine I can not get you the exact breakdown you need, this might help.

14 hp kohler engine (Cv14s 1451) runs good for 5 minutes stalls then won't restart for 1.5 hrs. Took apart carb and cleaned, changed plug (increased power runs smoother but problem persists).

I had this issue on my 14hp kohler and it was the ignition module. Would run until it heated up then shut down.

Changing from kohler 12.5 to kohler 14hp

Go to http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/public/list.jsp?BrandCode=10051 Type in your model no. and serial no on mower. Locate correct manual, you will then have to trace wires on both motors and make them correspond.

I have a Ford LGT with a 14 hp Kohler K321AS engine. Go to Kohler.com and download the service manual for the K321 engine. The manual covers all of the K type engines and gives diagrams and details of all the different types of ignition and electrical systems. It is free. JS
