same problem. in Vista.
i tried renaming the .w2k file to .inf but even thoit then installed, the configuration utility didnt appear in the system tray. even tho it worked fine inXP.
My case is more complicated: my version of vista is running inside a virtual machine, XP is the host operatng system and vista is the guest OS.
actually my product is the g-pen 450 but should be a similar solution.

Here is a direct link to the PenSketch driver, on the Genius website: http://download.geniusnet.com/2009/Tablet/PenSketch.zip I hope this fixes your problem.
What you should do now is to go to Control Panel->Add Remove programs. Select the entry for this tablet and delete it. after disconnecting the tablet reboot the PC. Then without connecting the tablet, install the drivers, Reboot. Connect the tablet and allow Windows to detect the tablet and load its drivers. Then only will work properly.
Try here, this is the company's website, I downloaded there the version of the driver for XP, once you're in the site, click on "product", then on the section "tablet", once there you just have to search for your tablet model and click on "more", it will sen you to the specifications of your tablet, and there you will find the download section, you just have to pick the operative system you're using and then click on "download" to get the driver you need. http://www.geniusnet.com/geniusOnline/online.portal
you can go to the prouct website. geniusnet.com and download the mac driver. there is a list of drivers for specific platforms that you can download and install. just get the driver for the mac and unzip and install it.
as for the pensuite, pop in the cd that the tablet came with and try instaling it separately and manually instead of auto install. when the main menu pops up only install the pensuite from the cd onto the mac... if that doesn't work mbie you can download the programe.if that doesn't work then i don't know... *smiles*
try downloading the latest driver from genius.com under products go to tablets..then downloads.. you will find several drivers ..download the appropriate driver and it will work all the best
