My Speedometer reads faster than than actual speed and the reading to actually increases ex at 20 mph it reads 28 mph and at 55 mph it reads 80 mph. How can I correct this?

Do you have any codes ? Have you modified your steering/suspension in any way ? Have you changed the size of your tires ? If you can share more detail information, this would help

How fast are typhoon winds

hello jackson.....

Typhoons form over the western Pacific Ocean. When similar storms form over the Indian Ocean they are referred to as cyclones, and in the Atlantic and eastern Pacific oceans these storms are called hurricanes.

Typhoons and hurricanes and cyclones are rated in strength according to the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale. Category One hurricanes and typhoons have a sustained wind speed of 74 to 95 mph. Sustained wind speeds of 96 to 110 mph raise the hurricane/typhoon to Category Two. A Category Three hurricane/typhoon sustains wind speeds of 111 to 130 mph. At Category Four, a hurricane/typhoon has sustained wind speeds of 131 to 155 mph. When sustained wind speeds exceed 155 mph, the hurricane/typhoon is classified as a Category Five storm.

My treadmill is telling me the wrong amount of calories burned and the wrong speed at which I am traveling. For example, I hit the button that says 6 mph, but the treadmill says I am running at 9.7 mph....

I had the same problem with my Nordic Track. I had somehow changed the display to metric readings.

Solution: Hold the stop button down while inserting the key, push the speed up or down button to change it back to english, remove key and you are good to go. Re insert the key and it should work fine. Hope this helps.

My 99 vw jetta wolfsberg will get up to 25 mph then all of the sudden will drop back down to zero for a minuite, then will jump back up to 25 mph it just keeps doing the same thing over and over again with...

Does your actual speed change or just the displayed speed? It could be a build up of brake dust on the speed sensor behind the rotor if it's displayed speed.

I have a E22078 Wind Vane. How do I check the wiring continuity at the cockpit without climbing the mast? Can I use a multimeter to read impedance up to the wind instrument?

You can read the motor/generator windings with a volt ohm meater. Is it dc or ac? You should be able to read some voltage as long as it is turning? If it is a dc generator it will read dc voltage at the slightest of wind speed. If it is an ac generator it may have to be above 5 mph to get a reading. No reading could mean a broken wire.

St60 wind instrument

You might want to double check that all of the spade connectors that are used to plug the wind transducer into the ST60 wind display are firmly plugged onto the display's terminals.

Because of the blind connection, sometimes the terminal ends up lodged between the red insulator and the spade, rather than within the spade connector itself. This results in intermittent or missing readings from one part of the sensor or more.

Also make sure the display is in Master mode. You will need to get into its setup mode to confirm this. The other possible mode is repeater, which would be used if this were a secondary readout.
