Front keys will not work on my lg env2

Have you tried pressing "Okay" then "Clear"? I know there is two lock features on it, and one is a double button lock. If that doesn't work there could be something wrong with the front keypad. Flip the phone open and see if it lets you unlock it that way.

To delete single messages on an ENV2 with broken inner screen:
1) Go to your message inbox on your external screen to find the message you want to erase, but don't open it.
2) Open your phone and hit OK (to open message)
3) Hit the top left silver button, then OK.
Wait a few seconds for it to delete. If you know you have multiple messages right in a row you can skip step 1 and the first part of 2 (open your phone).

Look, enV2s **** ****. almost everyone at my school thats had one, the front buttons quit working... even mine and i only dropped it once. its just a bad phone when it comes to front buttons.

take it to verizon.

the same thing happened to my env2.....and everyone else that i know who has the env2! i think it is just the phone....i eventually got tired of it and got a replacement

Unfortunately the OK button and the bottom row of keys are a design flaw. Mine has stopped working from repeatedly being sat on. When you press the OK button in various directions, sometimes it will come back to life. The best thing I can suggest (if repair is not an option) is to mess with the OK button till it springs back to live, and then quick as you can press menu, keyguard settings, and turn that off, this will allow you to still use the front of your phone when the OK button goes out again (like I said, not permanent.)

Now, about that memory card. if you haven't formatted it for Verizon, you may want to do that. to do so go Settings>Memory(9)>Card Memory, hit the soft key for Options and format. Keep in mind if you have files on there that you do not have backed up they will be wiped clean. After its been formated, you need to take it out, put it back in, and restart the phone. You should have access to your card memory then. ^^

this also happened to my phone its not the memory card, its the phone...check if any of your front keyes on your keypad are broken too. Mine where and it was as if the memmory card didnt exist. If this happens you have a 1 year warranty with verizon and you can get a new env2 which is what i just did. they sent me a new one and it works perfectly.

One of the biggest problems with this phone is the OK button not working, and the front keypad doing the same eventually. Everyone I know with this phone has the EXACT same problem.

its just a bad phone. my send button is beginning to stop working and all my friends who have the phone are have that same problem. get a new phone is what i would suggest. maybe a different one not the enV2.
