Mitsubishi cassette type
in door unit (PLH-2.5KKB)
out door unit (PUH-2.5NKA)
1) Compressor is change but new compressor same capacity,
but not same model compressor.
2) unit Runing Amp. 18.6
3) Suction pressuer 60 psig.
4) Discharg pressure 290psig.
5) unit is not working properly ?
6) unit is stoped P8 eroor code ?

P8 error is abnormal pipe temperature indoor. If you are running it on heating P8 error will appear because the disc pressure is too high. It could be overcharged.

This sounds like the compressor may have been overcharged. Some compressors are designed to release this excess pressure instead of exploding. Use a combination gage to check the high side pressure before and during operation. Since the compressor's lubricants are contained in the refrigerant, it can get hot from the loss, but will also run hot and draw high amps from an overcharge.

1) may be your control processing unit (PCB) damage.
2) Refrigerant gas leaking. low pressure switch off.
3) Compressor not working properly.
4) This is 3 phase model may be Ac power not correct.

Thanks for your detailed information. But solution is very simple. The compressor contactor in out door unit. Struck. And hence, when you power on, without indoor commanding, the out door starts running.

Replace same type Contactor relay (In out door unit) immediately. Hope, it's helpful.

Can a Goodman AC unit with a model number of a 24BTU-2 ton unit be upgraded to a 3 ton unit by changing the piston and the settings on the blower? They are also going to install a 3 ton compressor outside....

they would need to change the coil indoors to a 3 ton. If the blower speed can be increased it should be fine.

Evaporator comes on, but the condensor unit does'nt.

Have u checked at the compressor unit. There is a contactor than energizes the compressor is this contactor getting supply when u turn on the evaporator this contactor get energized see if this happens. If this is energized and you are getting supply to the compressor and compressor doesn't turn on 1.) compressor has thermal protection this might be faulty 2.) or the compressor has too much freon 3.) check if the windings of the compressor motor are not short to ground

You have 10 seer 4 ton unit. A compressor install in my company (4 ton) is about 1400 dollars. Remember when you change compressor you only get a 1 year warranty. A new unit can have as much as 10 year compressor warranty. Amana has a 10 year parts and labor with their unit. The new unit will be 13 seer and you may have to install a TXV inside. You might think about changing the whole system with the new 410A system. Either way a new condensing unit is needed. I have not had anyone just change a compressor in an older unit. Just not cost effective. Get several estimates before you make up your mind. Rus

Error code E39 for Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Ceiling cassett type

E39 Fault is thermister, Mitsubishi way of saying im not going to start because there is something wrong. Generlly it is compressor fault or short of gas. Im guessing if you turned the power out. Waited twenty seconds, turn it back on. Now if you go to the outdoor part. Wait exactly 3 mins. If you hear the compressor try to start and fail then it would more then likely be your compressor if you dont hear anything and the unit faults out it will either be a board or short of gas.

Either way If the unit is under five years old get a warrenty agent out to look at it.

Sorry I couldnt tell you for sure but MHI are very vague when it comes to fault codes

Is my warming fridg worth repairing?

you will have to get in a technician to do a proper diagnosis to get enough information to make that decision. the service call will be very small compared to the cost of a new unit if the repairs are cheap
because the compressor is working overtime , it suggests that the door seals are faulty and not sealing or the door/s need adjustment
