Question about Olympus Stylus 710 Digital Camera
WHEN REPLACING CARD AFTER DOWNLOADING TO COMPUTER, I GET CARD ERROR MESSAGE AND THE ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE IS TO RE-FORMAT THE CARD.
HOW CAN I AVOID THIS AND KEEP THE PHOTOS ON THE CARD?
It was a pain in the ***, but I was able to open and salvage my photos using the easy print option. Time for a new camera...

I repeatedly removed, ref-formatted and replaced the card. I did this 3-4 times and, while the battery did run down rather quickly, the card error problem seemed to be resolved.
I took some sample pics, download to comptuter, replaced card in camera and was delighted to find them still visible, and no card error message came up.
I hope this is a permanent solution.... and will have to check again when I have a chance to download again.
