It keeps saying that I have a paper jam. I cleared all the paper out and there is no paper anywhere that I can see. And yet it still keeps saying it has a paper jam. My husband has tried to take it apart to see if there is a hidden paper jam, but he can't get it apart to see. So, we can assume only 2 things--1. there is no paper jam and the printer is coding for no reason at all, or 2. there is a paper jam but we can't see it nor can we get to it to take care of it. So, what do we do???
SOURCE: Paper jam
sounds like you have a problem with the mechanicals, have it check by a certified tech. or junk it....hehehe!!!!
SOURCE: J01 error, but no paper jam; can't re-set
Remove the toner cartridge.
There should be 2 switch actuators sticking up from the base.
It sounds like one of these actuators has been knocked loose. Try to clip the actuator back on to the sensor.
This is a TOUGH job, you may need a sercive tech to look at it.
