I was ready to go buy another printer and found your solution. Worked BEAUTIFULLY!
THANKS A MILLION for saving me the cost of a new printer!
*Tip-I always mark the date on the side of the ink cartridge(s) when installing them so I know how long it takes to use them up. My black ink cartridge installed it in March 07'. It said it was 50% full, but I could hardly read the font. I guess they dry up if you don't use them within a year.
