Disc says loading and goes no further

First try different DVD discs. All players of DVD or CD are likely to fail in this way over time. You can try to clean the lens inside the unit, but it may not fix it. Its wise to buy the cheapest replacement, because they never last much longer than a year.

Won't complete the load disc process

Loading may mean it is not seeing the disc---A dirty or bad optical pickup is possible if you get this error with every disc.

Philips PET710 DVD player shows 'no disc' when disc inserted

I have the same problem with my portable dvd player and found that cleaning the lens of the player using a non-alcolhol wet nap for cleaning eye glasses worked well. I also found the rail that the optics runs along while playing needed a very small amount of silicone greese applied using a Q-tip. You may find that the optic unit may be "stuck" somewhat but can be resolved by gently moving the optic along its guide using a finger.

This changed my unit from not working at all, to working intermittantly sometimes having to vary the player on and off to recongnise the disc. Hope this works

Portable dvd player won't load disc

well..I ve heard this problem many times..a DVD player says "no disc" or "invalid disc" only if the disc that you have inserted is damaged or else the DVD reading lens has been damaged when you dropped your player..! That maybe the problem..I suggest it is better to show it in some shop ! or to the authorized dealer itself for better results..ok

Panasonic Portable DVD Player LS50

Can you see or hear that the disk is spinning up normally as it did before? I understand that the small, spin-motors on these portables often go bad.
