I would probably run the following before doing anything else. It may take over an hour to run.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/924611/how-to-install-the-individual-2007-office-features-or-to-repair-the-in

If the above does not work, try the below. It may be a bit difficult to determine which system restore might contain the working setting for the 2007 Office as you may have generated several restore points in attempting to reinstall it. If you go back too far, the program won't be available or recoverable. Avoid going back to a point prior to its installation but walk it back to a date where it was working. That is, choose such a system restore point. This may work around your problem with reinstallation.

I am not sure how you are reinstalling the 2007 Office. Did you uninstall it and then attempt to reinstall it or did you try to reinstall it over top of the existing corrupted version? And from what source? If you have an installation file and the software key, you might uninstall the program with something like Iobit Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller, then try fixing disk errors with Glary Utilities (if you can find a version compatible with your OS). Afterwards, try installing the program from Safe Mode.

Regarding reinstallation attempts, surely it requested the "key" each time you attempted reinstallation. Before you try anything else, you might run Magic Jelly Bean and Belarc Advisor to see what the programs pull up in terms of the serial number (key). If you can't find it, you know why your 2007 Office didn't run.

Windows Shutting down my computer every 1 hour or so....

First try going to the Microsoft Windows update web site and seeing if your system is in need of updates or patches. http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
You may need a patch as I have recently found with several machines running XP having the same problem, even though I see that you are running Vista. If it is only happening with Microsoft Office programs then you could run a repair on Office. This link will guide you through the process. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HP052372001033.aspx Worst case scenario is that you would have to uninstall and then reinstall Office. If it is happening with other non Microsoft programs then you could have a hardware or driver problem. If this is the case hopefully you are still under warranty and can contact the manufacturer for assistance.

Microsoft Outlook '07 repeatedly crashing & restarting on its own.

If this a new problem try doing a restore to a date previous date where it worked. vista 64 does have problem in that not all older programs work with it and if they do they have bugs that cause your type of problem. My transfer to vista 64 was racked with your type of frustrations, but I have worked through most of them and have learned to work around the others. Update often because microsoft and others know there are  problems and they do want this system to work for everyone.  New updates come when complaints are made. Complain!

Vista Home Premium crashed. Reloaded, www, graphics driver no-go

I would try to use the System Restore feature, if you have not already. Choose a date prior to when it crashed on you and it should work.
