SOURCE: Unit runs continually with gurgling sounds

defrost fully once a year or more if you notice it frosting up.it should run at minus 18c to 20 c for best results. 0f is fine.gurgling noise is normal (liquid turning to gas before compressor turns it back to liquid).make sure door seals all round and the kids close the door asap after use......also if you portion up food prior to freezing and vacpack it it will last longer.and be easier to store/rotate.

I have an 11 cf upright freezer. it has been running most of the time or at least make a noise. and I just defrosted it. and its still doing the same thing. any comments?

Good Afternoon friend, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire freezer is making noise and you have recently defrosted it, but your freezer is still making the noise. Your freezer will make certain noises which are normal operating noises for the freezer.

The compressor is a high efficiency so you may hear it during start up and while running. Additionally, refrigerant circulating through your freezer can make a tapping sound or even a gurgling noise. I hope this has been helpful. -Matt

Very loud noises

Check the rubber mounts under the compressor and look for any lines touching the sides of the cabinet. The gurgling and clunking are often normal. good luck. Roger

Door was left very slightly open. reclosed but so...

This is normal when compressor starts u can hear some gurgling from evap. from feron flowing. If you hear gurgling only when you close the door it's water in drain pan when you close the door air is forced down drain tube blowing air into water.

"High wind" sound following defrost.

Freon running through the feon lines can make some odd noises, usually a gurgling or higher pitched noise. If your freezer works fine with no more strange noises, then don't worry about it. If you have temperature problems or continue to have abnormal noises, then see if your freezer has the 5 year sealed system warrantee that most freezers have. If it does, and it is under 5 years, then call Frigidaire to come out to check it out for free. If it is out of warrantee you will need to live with it or replace the freezer, since a freon sealed system repair is very high. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Freezer makes gurgling sound, only cools a little

It sounds to me like the system is low on refrigerant or the metering device is restricted, the gurgling sound is the refrigerant going thru the evaporator coil. I see this is an upright freezer, so when the unit is running do all the coil tubing(in the shelves) get cold on the top ones and the bottom ones are warmer? This will tell you if the evaporator is starving of refrigerant. Either way you need a service tech to check it out. If the system is low on refrigerant then it leaked out somewhere and will need to be repaired.

Makes rattling noise when compressor is running

more than likely you're hearing the refrigerant passing thru the evap coil. it's normal. it may sound like water boiling, gurgling or popping.it's in your manual under normal operating sounds.

The buzzer is loud

Frigidaire # LFFH2067DoW2 # WB52430831 upright freezer (frost free commercial)

Freezer is still freezing. The alarm sounded and I switched the switch off to turn off. The manual says that the temperature isn't at the right temperature and once it reaches the correct freezing temperature the light will come back on or the sound would go off after at least 4 hours. This was since last night about 6:00 and if i switch the switch the alarm is still sounding. The left side of the freezer is a little warmer than usual. Any suggestions
