I have a Sony Grand Wega KDF-60XS955 there is a blue tint at the bottom of the screen. It hasn't effected the picture yet as far as I can tell but it just appeared last night.
Your optical block (light engine) is going bad. A very expensive part. Sony has a history of trouble with a lot of these. Sont will also sometimes warranty them for customers. Contact them with your model, serial, and date of purchase. Good luck.
