When i turn on my camera everything appears normal but there is no image on the screen, all the white information appears but the screen is black underneath.  This is also the same when it is switched to the eyepiece.  I can still take photos however they appear black too.  I can veiw photos that i have take before this problem occured.  Can anyone help?

I have the same problem. The menu items all show correctly, I tried the video feature; got sound but no image! Can anyone tell me if this is a settings problem or is the camera broken? I tried all of the settings, manual and auto. One responder said that this mean that the camera is "buggers". I don't know what that means.

Why is display information having a ghost like after image when the camera is turned?

Perhaps some moist came behind the glass? perhaps some air? Try to live with it, because the result is what counts and the pictures don't have this problem. I think it will cost far to much to bring it to a service or repair centre. Use the money to buy a new camera what this no longer shoot pictures.

it is definitely something bad with your lcd screen.the screen is very thin and easy to chipping.

you need to replace the lcd screen,or it will affect the camera normal working.

I have a problem with my laptop: when i turn on

The video information to the LCD screen is lost. This can be a faulty video cable/connector or a faulty LCD screen.
The graphics card on the Acer is OK, that is why when you connect a LCD monitor to the video port on the Acer you see the normal Windows images.
Try re-seating the video cable connector on the motherboard.
If this doesn't fix your then the LCD screen is faulty.
Replacement screen are available on the Internet. Try this company for replacement screen.
