It takes specailized equipment to recharge a refrigerator that a regular person does not have....

kenmore dryer works but cold air only

Manufacture date is on a plate on the back of frige or on a sticker on the inside of the door

check the relay and overload connected to the compressor. that will stop the unit from cooling. if that is not your problem, you may have a leak, which are hard to detect just by looking, and not worth fixing. it may cause less for a new one.

We have a Kenmore Coldspot Model # 106.8770687 and the freezer is cold and keeping things frozen, but seems to be frosting over and the refrigerator is warm at 40 to 50 degrees ... any help regarding what to check is helpful! Or a schematic / manual

sounds like a defrost heater located right behind the panel in the freezer section on the back wall. ($60 part)

defrost system not working. take back plate off freezer. checkdefrost heater and any stats mounted on the pipework

same problem then suddenly would not shut off, kept running. found out it was the thermo couple as well as the timer.
