Hi a lot of games on xbox need pal 60 to run properly, bought my lad a xbox and then had to buy him a new tv as well because old tv was only pal 50 and most of the games he wanted to play wouldn't work with it, the tv carnt keep up with the xbox graphics!
this happens a lot. what happend is the red white and yellow wires that you put in the back of your tv. the red one is not in the right area or
there is a switch right were you plug in that cable with the red whit and yellow cables to your xbox that says hd or normal switch that to whatever your tv is
that i can fix for u, if you go into the settings on the xbox i cant remeber the details of what tabs its under, but it will be under something like display settings your looking for an option which changes the tv from 50mhz to 60mhz or vice versa one of those setting makes the tv black and white just change it to the one its not set on this should fix it, if cant find the option to do this have a bit of dig through the option menu its not hard to find
a 'front load' nes ALWAYS does this, even if the connector pins inside the console are new. the cartriges on a Front Load nes rarely completely seat, as Nintendo redesigned the Famicom very poorly for the US market.
1. put the cart in as usual, but hold it all the way down
2. slip an unwanted/extra cart in on top of the metal hoop above the cart your using.
this gives a better contact for the cart.
try cleaning the cartrige pins as well. some won't read right if there's ANYTHING on the pins.
all right you have a system error call xbox at 1-800-4my-xbox and tell them and send it in for reparis it takes two to three weeks not that bad free shping and if they can not fix your xbox they will give you a new one. i hope i helped you my email is [email protected]
