Lost disk cant download pictures...

You don't need any software to use your camera.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

You may not need a driver for this camera. I assume you are using a computer with Windows installed.

1. Go to settings on the camera by rotating the dial to the wrench icon.
2. Turn the camera on and select Set-Up 2
3. Select USB
4. Select PC

Your camera is now ready to use with your computer.

Now plug your camera into your computer and check under My Computer for the drive to show.

You should be able to double click on the icon to open the files on your camera and copy them to your computer.

Are you getting some sort of an error? It may be that you have your memory card on read only mode.

You shouldn't need any extra software to download your pictures. Most digital cameras are accessible through windows just by plugging them in. Then you can browse through your camera and copy them accross manually. I imagine the Sanyo disc may have had a program that made this automated but I doubt you will find it for download as it would probably have copyrighted material on it. In any case I cannot find it for download.

You have loaded images previously- so it works OK huh! Your are Windows XP/2000 -tell me Remove any software you may have loaded that came with the camera, Now plus the camera in, switch it to the 'upload position' and it should appear in my computer as an extra drive - and/or Camera/Scanner wizard will come up and ask what to do next. If you have the CD - there is a manual on it in PDF format- you do not need any software to load images.
