Sharp 5070v I need to reset the drum counter. Help!

To reset the image unit counter on a Sharp MX 5070V series copier, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the copier and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Locate the image unit and gently pull it out of the copier.
  3. On the back of the image unit, you will find a small button labeled "Counter Reset." Press and hold this button for several seconds.
  4. Release the button and reinsert the image unit into the copier.
  5. Plug the copier back in and turn it on.
  6. The counter should now be reset and ready for use.
It's worth noting that this is just a general instruction, please refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for more specific information

How do i reset the trouble code c 2259

Black image unit motor failure. First open the front door remove the black image unit not the black toner!!!. Take the image unit and shake it so as to spread out all of the developer & toner inside the image unit along the whole length of the unit. The reason for this is as not have all of the developer/toner all at one end and the motor trying to turn with all that at one end or the other. Never store image units or toner vertically!!!!!
Now reinstall the image unit. and close the door. Opening and closing the front door will reset the machine . If it comes back good chance bad image unit.

I have tried using a new fuse to cause an imaging unit to reset on a Phaser 7400 but the fuse will not blow.

If the unit is remanufactured or if you know how, you will have to disassembly the imaging unit and replace the fuser that blowns or simply just solder it. http://www.uninetimaging.com/downloads/technical/xerox/english/Xerox_Phaser_7400_Reman_Eng.pdf

Xerox Imaging Drum reset ? for Xerox Phaser 2135

The only way to reset the image unit drum is installing a new one. The new image unit has a fuse which once blown it resets the counter on the machine. You can call www.iteminconline.com I have their information in my ad place. They are good techs. I once called for a 7300 image unit reset and they said it was almost the same as a 2135 and they gave me this information. well goodluck.
