RESET phone solution.. pls help..

  • i bought an O2 xda trion pc phone.. then i clicked the reset button then when it turned on the window said "tap the screen to set up your Windows Mobile-based device" so i tapped the screen and it went to "align screen" and it says "Tap the target firmly and accurately at each location on the screen. The target will continue to move until the screen is aligned" but I have been tapping it several times around the screen but nothing happens. what do i need to do? pls help.

Hi,

   u just do one thing..restart ur phone again..& when it asks u to set up ur windows..than tap on the black spot firmly ...u just need to tap on than spot only..nthing else after that leave..it will start processing..& ur phone will be on.

your phone is being reset if the situation is like that. get your pen and push the button beside the charging socket and press the power button also simultaneously.

Chances are Hard resetting your phone, but take note that all data will be lost.

Here is the Procedure

1. Press and hold GPS/Messaging and the Internet Explorer button,and at the same time need a stylus to press the reset button at the bottom of your phone.

2. Released the reset button but continue the two keys, until you see a message on the screen that all of your data will be deleted.

3. released the two buttons and then press SEND button on your device to perform the hard reset or you may even cancel the reset by pressing a button.

Xda trion turns into white screen
You need to return it to an o2 store for repair. If it's not under guarantee, I'd be very wary of spending any money on it as I had exactly the same problem and my phone has been back time and again for repair and still isn't right. Could be very costly.

Hiya,
the software that came with the trion is out of date, it offers microsoft active sync 4.0 or 4.2.
Go to Microsoft site and get Microsoft active Sync 4.5.
It worked for me

My o2 celphone won't turn on
O2 XDA Atom / O2 XDA Atom Pure / HP rw6828:

To perform a hard reset, use the stylus while pressing into the reset hole, press the power on/off button at the same time. Screen will prompt you to press the Green call and Red end call button together to confirm on hard resetting the device.

*Note: Hard resetting the device will cause the device to be reset back to its original factory default settings and all data will be lost.
