Hi, TV needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak or has been reached to end of its working life, please note that lamp is not dead or broken so that is why lamp lit is not lit at tv front. Hope these info will help you. Thanks.
Leave the TV running, go over to your PS3 and turn it off.
Once its off, hold the power button down till you hear a beep, KEEP HOLDING THE POWER BUTTON till you hear a double beep. The PS3 will shut itself off.
Give the device a couple of seconds, then hit the power button one last time (just turn it on, you don't have to hold it).
If all went right, your baby is back up and running...
Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 6000 hrs,2-4 yrs it could be time to replace the lamp. The lamp you need is xl-2100 you can find it here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/Sony-XL-2100U-TV-Lamp-p/sony_xl-2100u_replacement_lamp.htm?Click-48173.Have a blessed one!
When you hear the static, turn power off and then back on again and it will go away. Some players have been know to do that. It is a problem with the programming. Just turn power off and right back on again and it should be fine.
hello..i think you have very big problems inside on you're TV you need a Electronics Technician to see inside the real problem.my tips is located in Power Supply Regulator..Can i know what kind TV Model???thanks
Sounds like the power supply may be going out, or check and see if there is a circuit breaker button on the back. Otherwise there may e a blown fuse that is internal. Don't open the back unless you have training on what is safe to touch as the picture tube can maintain a HUGE electrical charge that can stop your heart if you accidently touch the wrong thing. Sounds like a weak power supply tho. Jay
