In general you have to pull the watch crown out and then use the buttons to set hands.
Some watches do it by pulling all way out, another models pulling just till the date/change position.
Try both and sure you'll get it.

The FC 270 does not have a second hand, the red tipped hand points to the month.

Try this.

Pull the winder out fully. Then press the top right chronograph button to move the centre seconds hand on. Then push the winder back in.

on some models you should only pull the winder half way out.

good luck

I have a chronograph watch with a white and a red

The trick is to pull out the stem 2 times and use the plugers to adjust each of the dials. Some watches have 3 dials and you have to pull out the crown 1 time or click and use the plungers or buttons to adjust the other dials.

Trying to identify an English watchmaker

No solution, but can give you information on Henry Stuart, as he is part of my family history. 1803 Liverpool - 1882 Oxton Cheshire when still described as a watchmaker. Making watches from at least 1825, in Park Lane Liverpool & later in Coventry too, but business suffered from the advent of cheap Swiss watches. Specialised in very beautiful cases, we are led to believe.

Second hand seconds out

This definetely is NOT a fault as all modern watches are fully adjustable unless damaged.
All resetting functions should be in your watch manual. Just follow step by step and the problem should be solved.
In case you've lowst your manual:
Go to www.citizenwatch.com find technical support and your exact watch or by caliber number.

Good luck

Hand on chrono won't reset to zero

It all depends on what kind of watch you have. On most watches you want to pull the stem out ( the part used to set the hands) HALF way, you will feel the "click" as you do this. Then I can't tell you which button ( because they are all differant on every watch) but one of the buttons will move the hand to the correct zeroing spot for you.

Resetting GMT hand

I have CL1180 and had the same problem, pulling the winder out to position 2 (fully out) and using the buttons resets the second and 10th second hands and putting the winder in position1 and using the buttons does the same for the minute and hour hands. However finding position1 was tricky, only seems to work on the way out from fully home and not on the way back from pos 2.

Hope that helps.

Chronograph hand not resetting to 12 o'clock

for my victorinox, the crown out one position and the reset button (lower chronograph button) changes the minute hand and the top (start/stop button) does the 10th's of a second...crown all the way out and top (start/stop button) does 30 second intervals for the minute counter.
