Baumattic Bt2760ss oven trips power

Either main or small oven trips the house rcd after 1 minute of operation. With the oven slightly warm it trips immediately the oven is selected on. The oven has not seen much use and was in a garage for 3 years prior to use. The oven was in the house for 2 months before use so should not be damp in any way. It seems to me to be a fault on the fan which trips on both ovens??

Check fan to see that it spins freely. Look for any evidence of rodent nests or damage( chewed wires ) check breakers and wiring to make sure they are properly sized for the oven. Hope this helps.

Testimonial: "Thanks for that. I have gone one step further and disconnected the fans. The oven still tripped. I disconnected the small oven elements and the oven took slightly longer to trip. The ohmmeter readings of the elements varies from 1.5M Ohms down to 0.3M Ohms (to earth). Could it be that the elements have broken down during storage or simply damp?"

SOURCE: Main oven problem

I suspect not the oven element at fault. you only way forward is to actually test the resistance of the element to earth with a megga if you can beg the use of one. be cautious about the result as on occasion, elements are only faulty to earth when hot. another way to test if you are cdarefull, is to connect the element to mains independently of the oven and see if the rcd trips

SOURCE: AEG Competence Double Fan Oven Fault

Sounds like oven element is faulty, disconnect it and try again, if it does not trip, then it is definately the element..
It is easy to replace.

SOURCE: Neff U1410 main oven trips the main RCD. Occurs

I have a u1421 with the same problem! I notice the fan doesnt run too well, sometimes it doesnt run at all, needs a prod to get it running. I suspect with no fan, that the element gets far too hot, and then starts to leak to earth, tripping the RCD. I'm gonna try buying a new fan motor - you should ckeck if your fan is running full speed OK.

Neff U1422 oven grill tripping RCD

The grill element has an internal short and needs replacing. Sometimes you can see it as a slight bulging of the element. This happens just before it blows a hole. It may also have been physically damaged when something was put in there after a few Sherries. :>D Sounds like your RCD is adequately sensitive.

Advice on RCD tripping

yes
an accredited electrician can test the circuits for insulation failure , vermin shorting across active / neutral/ earth points and the rcd itself
it is not a diy job

Kenmore duel fuel oven wont heat

I take it this will be an electric oven. If so the likely hood is that the oven element has blown and will need replacing. Normally when elements short they will trip the houses RCD (once only normally)

Why does my Candy oven Model FPP 406/1x trip the RCD in my fuse box after 3 minits warming up?

as an appliance engineer sometimes the oven element can be at fault, although this always the case, it could be the thermostat also as they are both interplay when the oven is heating up, they could both be tripping the RCD as the earth is detecting that electricity is becoming live due to a component leaking electricity.
you could try replacing both of them with caution (turning the electricity off in the house ect.. using safety equipment)

a good site to use for those components is the following;

Spare Parts Accessories for Electrical Appliances QuickSpares

usually if they don't have the item in stock on the website you can use the contact option and they usually respond pretty quickly and let you know if they can get the item ( most likely )

Keeps tripping out rcd 63 amps when warming up after about 10 minutes

If your oven is rated above 14kw then change the RCD to 80A. But if its rated less than this then please check shorted element and change them
