Necvox RE1043D adaptor

I purchased a vehicle with this unit installed. it does not power up. I have power to the input adaptor but its not supplying power to the unit itself.

upon further inspection I found the board inside the adaptor shorted out.

where can I get the adaptor labled AD-6874 ?

or one compatable that will work with the Necvox RE1043D ?

I have one of those AD-6874 adapters for sale if you still need one. Email me at ebayservices-AT-yahoo. Remove the -AT- and add the @ symbol if interested.

Hi. I need an adaptor unit for supplying power to a 'Necvox Re 1043' tv screen fitted in my vehicle. The number for the adaptor is AD-6874. I think it sends power, audio & video to the screen.

Would you please be able to tell me where i can obtain one of these adaptors? Thank-you John.

There are universal power supply units available that come with a variety of interchangeable ends and switchable polarity, current and voltages. However, if one of these will fit your particular needs I have no idea or indeed if they are available in your country. Try eBay or Amazon. I hope that is of some help.

Problem is likely thermal. Open unit carefully and use freeze mist (circuit cooler) to find bad component.

With that long a time period, it is possibly a component mounted on a heatsink.

I have a 2004 jeep grand cherokee i installed a 4 way flat plug for a utility trailer. I installed as instructions said but have no brake lights on the trailer, Everything else works. can you help me?

you will need to add an trailer light adaptor for this vehicle. this adaptor will combine the brake and signals from two separate sources. this unit can be purchased at walmart, Canadian Tire, Partsource, autozone. trailer shops. it will fix your issue. or purchase the vehicl specific kit for your Jeep.

Power Compatibility

Look on the power supply or the back of the unit. You will most likely see something like "INPUT 100-240VAC 50-60Hz 15-20VA". If so, then all you need is a plug adapter. If not, you'll need a power converter.
