I would suggest calling or find online Crutchfield. They have been car stereo experts for many years. They sell harnesses for just about any car allowing you to plug in your stereo directly to the existing harness. I guarantee they will know!

2003 mitsubishi galant es put in drive engine fuse blow only in drive

Well this is obviously an electrical gremlin, which I have had to deal with before. has anyone recently done any work on the cars electrical system...this would include a new radio/speaker system? If not you need to trace out the electrical wiring going to and from the transmission. Check for pinched wires, chafed wires and loose contact points including grounding studs and any electrical connectors that may have got moisture/water in them. Another thing is to make sure the proper fuses with proper ratings are installed also. Hope this helps!

Instead of plugging the factory harness into the radio an adapter might be needed.

stereo-mci1pvvbw0dqilycvujzsuug-3-0.jpeg the above diagram is supposed to match your radio from the factory. The documentation with the new radio should provide the pins and plugs and what is on them. The correct plug or adapter should match up with the factory harness and work correctly.

Hello I just bought a new stereo for my mitsubishi galant 2002 but i need to know the wiring diagram in order to make the installation if anyone can help thanks

Wiring adapters are available for nearly every make of vehicle, which allows you to plug right in to the original radio connectors. They come with wiring diagrams, and are nearly idiot proof. They cost usually about 10 to 15 dollars, and are available just about anywhere that sells car stereos. This also allows you to reinstall the factory radio when it comes time to sell the car and you want to keep your stereo.

you can buy a wire harness for your car that has the same wires as your radio does and the allows you to plug the harness directly into the cars wire connector.. This way no cutting of wires in the car are needed. price is around $15
