I dropped the phone in a water tank a few weeks ago, and these are the problems it has as a result: the phone's microphone does not work most of the time, and when it does, outgoing volume is very low. The speaker volume is extremely low, even at full volume. Finally, the phone will power down, but immediately powers back up.

The float valve sensor in the bucket is either stuck in the down position or has broken entirely. Accessing the interior of the tank is the only way to know. I would recommend that you use a continual drain hose, but that is not recommended, as the coils need some water in the tank to cool.
The real downside is, that Windchaser has been out of business (phones disconnected, website down, etc) for several months and parts are extremely had to find.
I hope I was of some help to you. Thanks for choosing FixYa.
It should take about 45 minutes to an hour to properly descale the machine. If it only took a couple of minutes you really didn't descale your machine. If you used the powder it has to disolve completly before descaling. The best way to descale is with the descaler in the tank. Turn on the machine and run about 8 ozs of water-descaler through the wand and then turn off the machine. Wait 10 minutes and repeatthe last procedure. Do this until the tank is empty. When done with the descaler, rinse out the tank and put fresh water in the tank and run the whole tank through the wand. Then fill the tank and your ready to go.
Is it possible that you didn't drain the air out of it after you used it a couple of weeks ago? If the pressure in the tank is somewhere around 100psi, the compressor won't run until it drops lower. If there is no pressure in the tank you might see if you can wiggle the pressure lever that makes the switch move to turn on the motor - it might be stuck.
Dropping you phone every now and then is very detrimental to your phone. What you are currently experiencing is a flex problem since you are using a flip up phone. You have to take the phone to a technician to refix the fllex for you.
You have a pressurized system using a pressure tank. This is a case of an air logged pressure tank. Meaning there is more air than water in the pressure tank. The pressure tank must hold 2/3 water and 1/3 air of its total volume. Installed at the tank is the air volume control to take care of this proportion. Should the air volume control malfunction or becomes defective, the air-water ratio is affected. And then, the pressure tank becomes either air logged or water logged. SOLUTION: 1. Shut the power off, and open the discharge line gate valve to flush the water in the pipe lines. 2. Open the drain plug of the pressure tank to empty all the water at the pressure tank. 3. Close the drain plug, and put the power on. 4. Start the pump, and set the flow control valve 1/4 open. 5. The pump will normally run.

We have a hd2560 (bot 10/04), french door with inside water dispenser and it had stopped working a year ago, but started working a few months later. I couldn't figure out what happened, but suspected the water line was frozen. I later found out that the water reservoir is located behind the fruit and vegetable bins, so look there to see if the water is frozen.
Two weeks ago, our frig/compressor stopped cooling after making humming/clicking sounds for weeks. Fortunately, Maytag has a 5 yr parts & labor warranty on the compressor, so we were covered. Evidently, there are quite a few faulty compressors out there.
I believe that the compressor had been over-cooling in the past and caused the water lines/tank to freeze. This would also cause frozen produce/fruit. I would immediately contact Maytag/Whirlpool if you suspect a faulty compressor as well.
Go to Control Panel and Click on Sounds, Click
on Audio, then Click on the Microphone. Then Click on the drop
down and select Camera Microphone.
Click OK and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
It sounds like like the phone's microphone isn't working. That's why the other party can't hear you. Your ear piece is working because you say you can hear the other party.
What makes you believe that the battery isn't charging? Batteries will get warm when they are charged. This is normal. However, you say "hot". How hot is "hot"? Can you keep your hand and fingers on it without discomfort?
I don't believe you can plug the battery in backwards. That would cause the battery to get hot if the + and - were swapped. The battery connector is polarized to prevent that from happening.
There still may be water in the micophone and the phone that you can't see. I would find a way to make sure its really dried out.
The best way would be to take the handset apart but that isn't always easy to do for most people. However it would give you a chance to inspect the microphone.
You might try placing it in front of a hot air register that is putting out warm air from your furnace. Remove the battery & battery cover so that the warm air can get into the inside.
The microphone have have been damaged from the exposure to water.
