Before choosing interior wall colors for your home choose furniture colors and bedding colors. It is much easier to match paint to a sheet, bed cover, or sofa than the other way around. Since paint comes in all colors, tones, and intensities, but furniture, curtains/drapes/shades, bedding do not, this is the logical choice. Also, paint matching machines cannot deal with a shiny surface, so you'll have to find a matt surface of the color to bring to a store. So many people are afraid of color, remember, it becomes hidden by furniture, window dressings, wall hangings, TV on wall.
Maybe your toddler is moving out of a crib and into a new toddler bed, or you've recently done some decorating. Either way, here are some wonderful ideas to transform a boring bedroom into a great kid friendly space.
Think ahead - this issue is an important one. Don't get so lost in decorating a toddler theme for your kid that they will grow out of it and you will need to re-decorate the following year. Finally - make it comfortable - the most important feature of a bedroom is whether it's a comfortable space to play and hang out with friends. Use bean bags and cushions or toddler sofas to create a relaxed space that your child will enjoy using.

As an interior designer, I always recommend using gender neutralcolors in kids' rooms. I suggest thatyou paint your coat rack a muted color like grey, beige or white. The lighter the color the less likely it isto be mismatched with the rest of the room.
There are soooo many. I personally have 2benches in my kid's room and its great for storage, however the kids do notreally sit on it, mainly the dolls and teddy bears - so I hope they enjoy it...any way, I recommend getting the "divided to bins" benches so not all the toysand stuff will mix inside and you'll have to dig to find something.
