How to make the led brighter

Led is now dimmer how to take it back to manufacture settings

Hello, i managed to some how change the dimmer on my clock (after the kids pressed all kinds of buttons and it jumped to super bright). Not exactly sure which one goes first but it is either the DST or the Time Zone button. These two buttons are the clue. I pressed like crazy (noy too hard) and suddenly managed to do the dimming in 3 or 4 brightness steps. But then it throws off the DST, So when you slightly press the DST button it jumps to auto/ on and then off....and then i think i pressed the Time Zone button and the dimmer started to change. I tried to do it a few times but got frustrated with it. But bottom line, these two buttons are your key. Also do not press too hard, just gently and play with them, you will see the dimming suddenly change.

To fix the dim brightness level, remove the battery and pull the plug out of the mains power. Leave it disconnected for at least 5 minutes then plug it back into mains power. You should find the brightness has retuned to normal. I have 3 of these Clock Radios and the picture attached shows the comparison between dim and normal. For some unknown reason they intermittently decide to dim themselves. This may be why Sony included a dimmer in the next model up ICF-C318. Anyway I hope this helps

Can I replace the fridge bulb with an led one on my Bosch fridge

Generally you should be able to do this. Be sure the LED bulb is similar or smaller shape so there are no interference problems after installing it. You should get a similar watt equivalent LED .... unless you want to go brighter or dimmer. And you usually get to choose whether you want "warm" light LED (~3000K) or "cold" light LED (~4000K). The warm light LEDs are closer to incandescent and the cold ones give off light more like a fluorescent bulb.

I have a Technics PR-305 Digital Piano The LCD screen back light has gone dimmer is there anyway to fix it to make it brighter or would I have to Forget it?

Yes. LCDs require back lighting.Think of an LCD as a window blind. It has to open to let the sun shine through, or close when you don't want the light. The LCD, works much the same way. it opens for light(in this case, not he sun, but a man made light, bulb, LEDs, etc. When your back lighting goes away, the display is darker, or completely dark. You will need to repair whatever method is used for back lighting. If you require additional assistance, or would like to inquire about a repair, please visit my website at audioseviceclinic.com. Thank you.

There are several brightness adjustments on this TV. Download the manual from the following link. Set the size to a readable %. Then click "Edit", then "Find", and type "bright", then click "Next" repeatedly to review all your brightness options. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/82813/Jvc-Lt-32e488.html#product-LT-37E488

The mph is led and can be replaced, but you have to get it at a salvage yard. As for as the back lighting for the cluster it is bulbs. If these are dim then you should replace the dimmer switch

Exact same problem

Only "...smack it with a hammer" if you want to buy a new switch! The weak LED's are probably really neon bulbs, as LED's will either work, or not work and aren't as suseptible to voltage changes as neon bulbs are.

The reason for the slightly dimmer bulbs could be because the plastic lens has gotten dirty, or that the bulbs have moved out of their holders inside the switch.

Provided the switch is still functioning properly, you can disconnect the power to the circuit and remove the switch to see if the bulbs have been dislodged from their mounts, or are lose, etc. Otherwise, if working OK, I'd recommend leaving it be.

If your switch does have the LED's on the side, you might find that the mini circuit board has gotten pushed out of its' proper mounting position and by resetting it back on the faceplace to the proper location, could make the lights brighter again.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

LUTRON DIMMER

The Lutron Maestro dimmer isn't rated or designed to operate low voltage lighting as it is a 120 V-AC rated electronic dimmer. You should either install a standard low voltage ON/OFF switch on this installation or obtain a dimmer rated for use on low voltage lights.

You need special low voltage dimmer designed for use on the low voltage pucks lights you have installed. Usually the low voltage is either 12, 24, or 36 volts, depending on the manufacturer of your particular light set. Once the correct dimmer is in place, the problem with the flickering and pulsing of the lights, should cease.

If you still are having this problem and you can't find a low voltage dimmer, you can contact the maker of your low voltage light kit and they can provide you with an acceptable dimmer option for your lights.

Most Home Depot and Lowe's carry the low voltage puck light kits, and usually have accessories for these lights, including dimmer switches that will work with them.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!
