Printing last page first

Sorry if this is a duplicate; i can't tell if my first entry was accepted. we are currently migrating from RSC 6000 to Redhat and are attempting to test printing reports to an IBM 6400 matrix printer. it prints however it prints the report upside down in reverse order (last page first ending with the first page). is this a driver or setting issue?

SOURCE: Error 058 Shuttle Jam on an IBM 6400 Matrix printer

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

SOURCE: Cutting letters off in 2 spots down whole report

IF trouble in first row - you ribbon is tracking wrong - replace

You may have junk in the ribbon mask also. No parts needed for that. You need to rotate the hammerbank. Remove ribbon and black cover, the whole shuttle will tipback toward you when you unscrew the allen wrench - watch out for the paper tractors they will hang on the ribbon mask. The ribbon mask is held on by magnetic field - just pop off carefully. clean holes with toothbrush and water - dry. (if the trouble is a bad actuator - 4 allen screws to remove a group of hammers - if using short paper - you can use a group from the end of the printer). reverse to fix

SOURCE: IBM 6400 Dot Matrix Printer - Need Drivers for Windows XP

Try running couple of these test, to see if it might be another issue.
It should be printing these test at 1500 Line Per Minute... ?
1500LPM is at 10CPI if you have (Font size: 6, 8, 12, 14) it will make a difference.
Change your driver to Generic/Text, rerun your report... any difference?

SOURCE: IBM 6400 Matrix Printer is printing twice over a

Might be your gap is set to high. try moving the right lever from A to B for example and see if it clears it out. Also might be your parallelism, you will find to hex screws on the right and left of the platen assy that u can adjust. This will balance out the shuttle if one side is printing to light and another is printing to dark. Rory 708-597-4222

Sorry there is not a fuse for this, not even the noise maker. It is controlled by a computer.. There are fuses for them. most likely if you pull the fuse it will kill the engine.( No start).

I just bought a 1995 Lincoln Continental. How do i reprogram the keyless entry on the driver door

After entering the 5 digit code that is currently installed, press the 1/2 button and enter your new 5 digit code. After entering your new code, press the last 2 buttons (7/8 + 9/0) at the same time. This will confirm your new code has been accepted. Keep in mind, in case of loss of power, the keyless entry will revert back to the original code. Best of luck.

Go to print checks and application closes

I had the same problem and contacted Intuit. If there are any duplicate check numbers for the checks you are about to print, a bug in R6 causes the program to blow out. I had some check numbers that were from over 10 years ago that were causing the problem. Go in and tell it not to warn for duplicate numbers, and it may fix the problem. They said it is to be cured in future releases.

Outlook 2003

I'm certain you're aware that "inconsistent" isn't a good thing. In cases such as the one you present, the only sensible option is for one to "cut their losses and run." Your client is well advised to completely remove the offending entries and rebuild the calendar manually. Not a fun answer, to be sure. As you noted, the problem will migrate to OL 07, possibly further compounding the problem. Unfortunately, to apply a common fix, one must face problems that have something in common regarding their creation and nature.

Good luck.

Prints a decription of my print job on one page ... additional unwanted page.

It sounds like you are printing from Word 2007. Go to the Office Button, Print, Print, Options and under "Printing Options" uncheck the "Print Document Properties" box.

Last page of printing stops 3/4 through the page.

Try cleaning your heads with appropriate solution. Then, cancel all print jobs. Try again. If it does the same i would turn it off, inplug all the cables, replug all and turn on. Try again. If still no good, completely unistall printer then reinstall it. Try once more. Good luck
