How to open Logitech speakers s-lbu55b - Dell Audio Players & Recorders

first open the net over the speaker...top bottom corner there is a hole then in this hole put a strength stick pressure heavy by side..then it will show u crack by this crack u have to open it!!remind there is no screw in s-100 logitech speaker!!Thanx!

that's very nice thought but realty is different do not open himself go to service center for logitech specialist for sound they repair accurate so go and repair by the logitech service center

The Logitech is a little tricky. You need to carefully pry off the white bezel around the speakers and then pry away the grills. Under the grill you will find four screws holding the two speakers, and four screws set deep in holes.

Undo these eight screws and the front will come off.

could also be a damaged wire, check that first by "feeling up" the wires, does it feel cut or interrupted somewhere? if not, you can open the speakers by lifting or prying out the rubber cushions on the bottom side and removing the screws. Remember this voids your warranty, if it's still applicable.

Speakers dont need drivers
it implies that to reproduce sound from system to
a speaker you only needs the Mother Boards Audio drivers
For example for most ASUS and gigabyte motherboards there require Realtek HD audio driver.
So depending on the motherboard vendors you can select the audio driver you need

Try setting the speakers as default on your computer first
Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and open 'Playback Devices'
If you have 2 sets of speakers I would expect to see them displayed here with one set checked as default
Click on the set of speakers you want to set as default and Click 'Properties'
Click tab 'use this device enable' click 'Apply' and 'OK'
Open the sound tab again right click on the speaker icon and 'test'
All OK ?
Restart your computer and configure to the chat program

Hi , And happy new year , You speakers can be opened , but the second you open them, you will lose your warranty , if thats ok with you , then go ahead and unscrew it and get the nut back...if you dont want too lose your warranty , i suggest you leave it in there..

most of the logitech device are plug and play, all you have to do it just plug it to the computer CPU and it will turn on automatically

I was having the same issue and while trying to pry the damn thing open, lol, I found out that the front panel (smooth black surround for the speakers) is just glued on and the screws are underneath it. just take a fine tip screwdriver and pry the panel loose.

yeah repair the volume switch, open the speaker carefully and pump out the lead which connected the switch and the board..
