The delete button is the one with the circle with a slash through it. I checked the user manual online, and it should be the bottom right button out the 8 round buttons on the base (just to the right of the next button, right under "find hs"). Hope this helps!

After its deleted then its deleted forever. These are not like the old answering machines that all you did was pull the plug and plugged it back into the wall outlet to retrieve old messages was were deleted. When digital you can not do that....Sorry
