Is 0 the finest? or all the way up to 18.. something is up with my saeco vienna super automatica. Coffee is too weak! Recently removed the bean hopper assembly cleaned and put back. (2 screws) did I mess it up?
0 is the finest setting. If you read the manual, it advises to adjust your grinder ONLY when the grinder is actually working. Also, you should only adjust it gradually from one setting to the next (ei. from 2 to 3), and wait about 5 cups before adjusting the setting again.

Hi More than likely your grind is to fine and you are using oily beans (shiney). There is a small knob in the bean hopper. turn it down to the minus side. Turn the big knob to the # 18. If that doesn't work you are going to have to take the grinder apart and clean it.
This happens due to condensation caused by steam developed at the end
of the grinding cycle. Make sure that the grinding chamber is
completely cleaned and dried before using the grinder.
Turn the whole bean chamber to the right until it
can be lifted off the base. This will allow you to clean the grinding
wheel. NOTE: Never use water or liquid for cleaning the lower grinding
section of this appliance.
