Sound goes up and down when recording with VCR tape on Magnavox ZV457MG9. I have tried different tapes and get the same problem. When you play the tape back the volume goes up and down

This is usually caused by poor contact between the tape and heads or the tape fluctuating as it goes through. First try a cleaning tape and see if that improves matters. Then get a friend to show you how to clean the tape path with alcohol and q tips.I assume there is no picture disturbance? There could also be other reasons like the auto level not working properly but start with the basics.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Web user interface timeout please log in again message over and over even after I log out and try to log back in

This may be caused by a bus level communication problem, try a restart. Power down the computer, power down the library, power up the library, wait for the library to finish initialization and verify from the control panel it is in an online/ready state, power up the computer.

When I put my tape in the camcorder and close the metal door, the tape does not go down. but when empty, the tape holder do go down.

Hi, My Sony DCR-HC32 handycam's tape mechanism is giving me some problem. It ejects and the tape deck opens up properly but after putting a tape and closing it, the tape deck does not go in. I tried with or without tape but it doesn't go in. It is still open.
Can you please suggest how it could be fixed?
Thanks,
Pramod

JVC MX-C33 Tape Drive Problem

there are small rubber belts that drive the tape spindle that makes the tape play! Over time these stretch and become loose and make the tapes play slowly and even shut down (replace belts and it should be fine) these belts are located in back of tape spindel and are about two inches long!

Tape wouldn't eject, now power unavailable.

open it. find the motor that activates the tape door. turn it by hand until tape is fully exposed to be removed.

Tape door wont close

I'm having a similar problem. The camera is a Sony DCR-TRV280. When you put a tape in the tray will not go down. However when the tray is empty and you push it shut it will go down. In other words the mechanism works fine without the tape but with the tape it doesn't. I hope the explanation is clear enough. Thanks
