I am unable to HotSync and cannot load HotSync manager

I am unable to choose a USB connection, HotSync or load HotSync Manager. The Palm desktop organizer program is installed and loads properly. Also, I am networked with the company intranet. I loaded the software from the Palm website since I forgot my CD with the software. Any help would be appreciated. My palm z22 handheld hotsync manager will not let me update my handheld to the computer. it always says "the connection between your device and the desktop could not be established. please check your setup and try again", but i have already checked my setup and tried again for like 5 hours. HotSync Manager won't start, either from the handheld or from the Programs Manager.... cannot connect usb hotsync

Reinstall Hotsync manager and make sure selected port is correct. Use alternate method to sync like Infrared

Is it connected to the pc via usb? Try other usb port like the usb port on the back of your computer if your are using a desktop computer.

Palm will not sync

Make sure hotsync manager is running. reboot the Palm device. connect to the USB cable and press the button. Also use hotsync manager to ensure you have enabled USB option.

Unable to hotsync treo 600 with my computer

What is happening with the Sync? Does your PC and the Palm Desktop Manager recognize your TREO 600? If not, the issue may be that somehow the driver for your device was removed. I would suggest upgrading to the latest version of the Palm Desktop Manager and try plugging in your TREO 600 again and try synching.

You also have to make sure that the setting on the Palm Desktop Manager is the same as the type of cable you are using. If it is a USB cable, have that setting on your PC's Palm Desktop Manager Hotsync settings.

Palm z22 usb cable connection problem

I have the same problem, but with TWO z22s. Both are about a week old, and both "talked" seamlessly to the computer. Suddenly neither does. Do not see anything wrong with USB port or cable. Uninstalled all PALM OS from desktop and reinstalled. Still no link.

Do you have the USB option turned on in the HotSync Manager? Have you checked the item called Local USB in the HotSync Manager menu. This check mark ensures that HotSync Manager is listening to the USB ports on your PC for a HotSync request.

Vx to Outlook 2002 failed - no connection Established

hi, on ur palm tap on home , u would see hotsync icon tap on that , on the hotsync page , u would see ur name on top or just welcome , make sure u see direct serial on the same page , tap on the top left corner where it says hotsync in words , in the drop down , tap on lan sync prefs , make sure local hotsync is darker in shade. on the pc make sure u see the hotsync manager at the bottom right corner , if not , click on start , click on all programs , choose palm desktop , inside that u would see hotsync manager , left double click on that , if it doesnt appear at the bottom right corner , try 4times , then if it still persists , restart the pc and try again. Once u see the hotsync manager at the bottom right corner , right click on that , left click on setup , left click on local , choose a different com port , reduce the speed to 9600 , click on ok restart ur pc and try hotsyncin , if it doesnt work try the previous step again and do not forget to restart ur pc , and then perform a hs , it will work .... Regards
