Question about Kenmore 17252 Free-standing Dishwasher
In the last cycle the water dint get drained I removed the water manually and now when i switch it on there is only a bussssss sound form the dishwasher as if something wad stuck or something, no water going in or out.this is Kenmore 18" portable dishwasher model number 587.17252201. i have a similar problem to the one above. Can you tell me where the fill valve is located and what to look for. The float is fine but I did also have to manually remove the water. I also have a buzzing sound and I do have city water.
THERE IS A PLASTIC COVER GRATE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE DISHWASHER TAKES A 1/4 INCH NUT DRIVER TO REMOVE IT, TAKE IT OFF CLEAN OT THE DEBRIS AND FLUSH WITH A BUCKET OF WATER, THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE FILTER, IF ANYTHING IS IN THERE YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE IT, I HAVE FOUND STRAWS AND KNIVES IN SOME DISHWASHERS, HOW THEY GET IN THER IS A MISTORY BUT THEY DO

I have a similar problem. Each cycle is supposed to start with a water drain... I get no draining, only buzzing, which sounds like the motor turning, but it won't drain. I thought maybe the motor was not reversing, but then the water would be spraying through the arms. I spent several hours doing a complete dis-assembly of the sprayer arm, cover, everything all the way down to the bare motor, which I also removed to make sure it's turning freely. It is. Also checked the drain hose and flap valve. Both looked fine. Help, I'm totally stumped.
