The Bluray feeder ejects and takes the discs in, but not like it used to.
It goes in striaght, but it used to spin the disc as it went in and out also you have to push the disc further in before it grabs hold of it.
    Anyone know why.
I know this is a minor problem but worried incase it gets any worse.

Hi Lasher,

Sorry to hear your PS3 is down, I know this is a stressul problem. I tell you, inr the best interest for everyone, you should contact Sony support on this problem.  You can reach Support at 1 800 345-7669 (SONY) and arrange a return to them for repair. They are very good and have done service for me in the past.  You should expect to get your PS3 back from them in under 20 days from the date you send it to them. The Postage with insurance is high at $37.50 including $500 insurance.

There is not kind of Quick fix on the Blue ray Disc drive unless you find the Pin hole that manually ejects the disc. .

Good luck,  I run the Playstation Clinic, in Fountain Inn, SC. if you need further assistance contact me as [email protected]

How do I get to the lense in my broksonic DVD VHS player. My DVDs wont play anymore and I think it needs cleaned. I can't figure out how to get the actually laser cover off.

you don't you buy a laser cleaner disc. This disc has small bristles that clean the lens inside the machine without having to take anything apart.

Wii game was stuck halfway in machine kids couldn't get it to go in so they tried to force it till I caught them and stopped it. Pulled it out and when you try to put a disc in there is a grinding...

The best option to fix this problem is to take it to a service center unfortunately, but here are a few question you need to know the answers for to be able to get the best service:
1. Was the Wii on when they tried to force the disc in? If not then the noise could be that the motor mechanism has been jammed and the worm gear for the motor has been stripped. You will need the disc ejector mechanism replaced.
2. Was there another disc in the machine at the time? If there was, it is possible that the first disc has become lodged in the machine and could have been broken into pieces, so when the disc is entered or ejected, sometimes it will go in and sometimes not. When there is vibration the disc pieces or even the whole disc could move in and out of the way of the tray. You would also need to have this removed by a service technician.
Wii consoles are notoriously fiddly to deal with when it comes to repairs, needing special screwdrivers and a keenly trained eye to be able to spot a problem in an extremely confined space.
I'm sorry I could not be of more help but I hope this helps you even a little.

I have the magnavox blue-ray nb500mg1f for not even a year. Its not playing anything anymore blu-ray or dvd. Keeps saying (disc read error, playback feature may not be available for this disc)

whit all optical drive units disc read errors are caused by one of three things: a damaged or dirty disc, a damaged or dirty laser/optical eye, or a defective drive motor not spinning the disc at the correct speed. since it is less than a year i would recommend contacting the manufacturer and request a repair. it should be free but it wil take a few weeks to be completed.

DVD will not recognise discs

I think that moisture has formed on the boards.

The best thing to do is to take the recorder
and put in a warm room, connect it and leave for 2-3 hours.
Then try with a disc again.

I hope i`ve helped!

Every disc i insert into mschine takes ages to load and then says disc error, even movies I have previously watched on this machine

That happens when the lens are dirty or defective.

You can try using a cleaner DVD to clean the lens, that may not work.

Being the unit only 6 months old this is probably a fault concerning the lens, rather than dirt and dust on the lens.

I think the best thing to do is contacting Pioneer at the number listed on the owner manual, since there is one year factory warranty cover on all Pioneer products.
