I have the Sony KDS50A2020 rear projection TV which turns on (blinking green light goes on) then the screen turns black. The volume is still fine and the red lamp light is NOT on. The picture will then return for a few minutes, then black out again, this goes on all day. Any guesses?
Replace the lamp, clean the fans, seen it a hundred times, I know "the lamp light isn`t blinking" replace your lamp and you`ll be back up & running, gl, video-tek
I've had this same problem. Our tv screen first started to go black with clear volume and the screen would turn itself off and on....repeat. We just replaced the bulb 8mths ago and now our screen keeps fading in and out slightly. The screen does not go black, just fading picture and back to clear. Can it be the lamp or something else?
