I originally hooked up my phone with the Blue Tooth setup. No problem and then the phone set up became disconnected. I set it up again. No problem. It once again became disconnected. I now cannot connect. I removed all pairing and all devices from my phone in the hope of starting all over because nothing was working. It still isn't. What do I do first? Do I need to key in my telephone number after Carmultimedia or leave it at Carmultimedia? I've turned Blue Tooth on on the phone. Do I then push Add devices on the phone and push Make Discoverable on the car? I've done this and it keeps coming up No Devices Found. I'm stuck. Please help.

Probably the starter solenoid. I'm assuming it's a standard transmission. Does pushing the clutch down hard make any difference? There is a safety switch on your clutch pedal. If it's automatic, it would definately be the solenoid. And no, pumping the gas has no effect on the starter. It will help to flood the engine though. ( and that's a bad thing)

wonder if its an open spot in the starter?....if it stops on an exact dead spot of the armature ...it can be an open circiut...might ck applicable power train warranties that might cover this

Hello you must be in your car and put your phone into pairing mode and also have the key on so your phone can "find" your cars bluetooth system. You could also check the cars owner manual should help or any toyota salesman will show ya also
When this happens, move the Gear Selector lever a bit. It has a Neutral Safety switch that may be slightly out of adjustment
