If the fuseable link needs replaced where is it located

Fusible links connect to battery power, usually somewhere along the red (positive) battery cable. On some vehicles the links connect to the red cable at the starter post connection, lots of GM cars put the links there. Older Fords had the links connect to the battery cable at the starter relay on the passenger fender. The links have to connect to direct positive battery power somewhere, because they work independent of the key switch being on or off. They get power from the battery and not from the ignition switch. Think of your headlights: you can use them with or without the key. That is because the fusible link (if so equipped) for the headlights gets power right off the battery.

Hello

Try connecting it to a power outlet and check it turns on. If does then the replacement Battery is faulty. Once connect to power outlet check the battery connection from the GPS if they give out any power (You will need a multimeter to check). If the is power coming out from the GPS to the battery connection then the battery is the problem, Make sure to check the battery too. If it works or no.

Hope that helps

Im not sure about power wire red black ground and yellow not sure?

Connect black to earth or battery negative.
Connect red to battery positive or the acc lead from your ignition switch. If connected to acc the unit will power down when the vehicle is switched off. If connected to battery positive it will remain on irrespective of ignition switch position.
Connect yellow to battery positive for memory power. The moment this lead loses power all the settings/memory on the unit will be lost.

INVACARE STORM TDX DROVE OFF OF CURB LOST POWER IMMEDIATELY

Sounds like your battery or batteries became disconnected. Remove the 3 screws holding the rear electronics cover on the chair. Check all the controller connections and specifically the 2 pin plug into the batteries in the battery box. Remove the screws and pull the front battery box cover off. Slide out the battery tray after removing the retaining screws on the bottom sides at the front. Check the batteries for loose or damaged connections and tighten.
If you cut or broke wires at the rear or bottom of the controller you can do a temporary repair and order new parts. You should be able to get the chair to power up if the power path connections are good. If it powers up after a check of the battery connections and power connection to the controller and you still have a fault code, I can help you further. Hope this helps you for now.

Does not power up - battery indicator blinks amber 3 times on pushing power button

The blinks usually mean low battery. Did you connect your power cord and try starting up. Or if you have a different problem. Do as follows
  • Disconnect battery and connect only the power source
  • Disconnect power source and connect only the battery
  • Connect both and test if the battery is charging up
This will help us know if there is an issue with the battery or the power adapter.

Won t work with new batterys

Check the big white battery power connector to make sure the metal tabs are making a connection to the female connection when pluging in the battery to the ups. If the tabs are not aligned the battery is not making a connection to the ups and will not engage the relays in the unit. Again check the metal connections in the male connector to make sure the flat tab is aligned with the female plug when connecting the plugs together. I could not get my ups to power up and the reason was because when I connected the battery the tabs in the plugs were not making a connection and the ups was not getting the voltage from the battery that it needed to power up the relays. I checked everything in the ups and then I looked closer at the battery connector to make sure the ups was getting the power form the battery and it was not electricaly connected to the ups because of the large white connector tabs were not aligned to connect to each other.
