Asus eeepc 1025c, won't get any power from DC adapter. Power jack is ok, reads 19.40 V. Is there any fuse on the mobo? I can't find service manual or schematics..
Did you try another power adapter? If it's not the problem of the power adapter, you might need to check again the power jack, Asus uses a very small power jack for EEE PC series, it is easy to loose on the motherboard..
If a power jack needed, check this page: http://www.lapdiy.com/asus-eeepc-eee-pc-1025c-netbook-dc-power-jack-socket-p-42259.html
wish this can help you.

Thanks for the reply. The power adapter is in proper working condition, as well as the power jack. As I said before, i get a strong reading of 19.40 V on the jack connector to the mobo. The origin of the problem was an accident (short circuit on the cable when the machine was plugged in) with the original adapter, now I'm using a brand new one.
Jorge, did you ever get a fix on this? I have a very similar problem on the same computer, only it's lighting up now (after jiggling a few things and re-assembly), but still no useable power or boot-up.
