Too much power and now lorex camera wont turn on

Wires were cut so my friend tried to wire it directly to the same wires powering the outside motioin detector light, too much power!!!! camera wont' turn on now

nc c + - Y G Tmp Tmp

nc and c is relay output normally closed
+ and _ is 12vdc input

Y and G is bus connection

Tmp is tamper output also normally closed

I HAVE A SECURITY CAMERA GOT WITH THE WIRES RIPD FROM BACK OF IT 4 WITH WIRES 1 RED 1 WHITE 1 YELLOW AND 1 THICK BLACK WIRE HOW CAN I REWIRE IT?????

hi have the same issue found it to be red power black negative yellow video white audio and bare wire is the shared ground for the yellow and white hope this helps

I HAVE A MICROMARK CCTV ITS A SCART TYPE IT TELLS ME IN THE INSTRUCTIONS TO PUT THE SCARTLEAD INTO THE SCART ON THE TV WHICH I HAVE DONE I AM GETTING THE PICTURE OK BUT THERE IS NO SOUND ALL I GET IS A HUMMING SOUND JUST LIKE YOU HAVE NOT TUNE IN THE TV PROPERLY I CANNOT TUNE IN THE TV AS ITS ON THE AV SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND WHEN IT TELLS ME WHEN I PUT IN THE SCART THE SOUND WILL BE PICKED UP . OR COULD IT BE THAT ITS A TV COMBI VIDEO

you need power to the red and black, white to a rc plug center pin yellow to the center pin of a rc plug and there should be a bare wire you need to split it off to the outside section of the yellow and white rc plug

Wires cut on my lorex mc7520 color camera how do I wire

I hope you have the rest of the system since the monitor powers the camera. If you have the end of the cable with the connector on it then just splice the wires color for color. If not then you're out of luck.

You destroyed the camera. Lorex won't cover that under warranty either. Since you didn't use the power adapter that came with the camera you'll have to get another camera and connect it correctly

The RED wire is your 12 volt power "positive". The BLACK wire is your 12 volt power "negitive" The YELLOW wire is your camera video. The white wire is your cameras audio & the copper wire is shielded ground.{Davesajak}
