Problem in Chinese chacracters printing , prints only junk !

Hello Sir, I am using EPSON TM-U220 PD Receipt printer . I want to print the chinese characters but while printing it prints all the junk characters . As far as printing is concerned it prints fine for English characters. Can you please suggest the settings required for this printer to print chinese characters ? Does this model supports multilingual printing ? .. This is very urgent for me as I want to print the receipts in other language too eg: Thai etc ( i.e. multilingual printing ) ..
